party lights

I know that I will get toasted for this....so be it. But, put me in the camp that is not a fan of, "strings of party lights all around a site.".....especially if the site is right up against ours....

But, I know that I have wheels and can move on down the road.

If you know what "binder clips" are that are commonly used in offices, they work pretty good. Used the once to attache lights to my awning.

when all fails just get a large bag of tie straps... They work great but unfortunately not reusable.


I use these to hold up my Rope Lights (LOWES) around the inside of my awning. I have a couple of 25-foot lengths being used... Takes about 10 tie straps to hold them in place...

I always snip my tie straps off when I tear down packing up...
Then I have to spend a few minutes finding them all on the ground to throw away haha...

Who cares?
You have absolutely no idea where he was/ is, or going to be camped, so why make such a ridiculous statement like that? Maybe he's in the middle of the desert, or on the beach facing the ocean with no exposure to anyone like the guy down the beach from me now and not bothering anyone.

On rare times we hand them we use cloth's pins. Adds to the trailer trash atmosphere along with our pink plastic flamingo's LOL

To string them across your awning, put these in the groove in the awning roller and then hook your lights in them.

We've also used binder clips, bungie cords, zip ties, cloths pins, and if you've got nothing else, there is always Command Hooks which remove easily when done.

I've had one Command Hook on near the door of my camper for over 3 years now. I hang my outside themometer sensor there.

Great Idea Dutch.... The TIE STRAPS are rather cheap and never bothered to look for any thing else... Will get a bag of those.... Thanks for the tip...

We all are creatures of habit and I sometimes get my same camping site again only to find a few more TIE STRAPs I missed cleaning up hehe...

3M Command clips work great and come off when you want them to!

I put a timer on them so they are not on all night.

Put your party pants on and go crazy with it. Twist ties, zip ties, mai tais .... who cares? Have a good time !!!
