- westendExplorerGreat modification and write up! Thanks for all the details. I'd say it's going to be a winner for you all the way. Don't know if this is something you would be interested in but if you put one or two folding legs on the outboard corners, it would help hold up the 3000 frame and it may dissipate some resonance.
Good luck with the genny! - 06ViewHExplorerPlease delete
- BurbManExplorer IIFirst off I neglected to say great job on the install, very clean! I know that gas generators can be converted to run off of nat gas or propane...couldn't the factory Onan be converted to run off of gasoline? Seems like that would have been the path of least resistance.
On a side note is the Onan for sale? :) - 06ViewHExplorerPlease delete
- MrWizardModeratori hope you get 80hr with A/C
but i think it will be closer to 60hrs or less
20 hrs 3.5 gal approx 6hrs per gal at 1/4 aka750w
figure 12amps 1500w for A/C thats 3hrs per gal
what size A/C how many amps draw when running ? - 06ViewHExplorerPlease delete
- BurbManExplorer IIHow does the runtime compare the Onan which I gather was propane powered?
- CarterKraftExplorerGreat thread and attention to detail, I don't have a View or a EU at the moment but the information is useful across many platforms and is very much appreciated.
