I had a 2500 watt msw inverter which I used to power my microwave. Sometimes it would not do so due to surge from the microwave.
A 1500 watt may not be enough ommph
Here is what I would recommend if you wish to stay with MSW.
Cobra 2500 watt $98.00Be sure to set the fridge for propane and turn off the electric water heater.
Rule of thumb for amps draw is wattage divided by ten. So a 1591 watt microwave will draw 159 amps@12 volts by the time you allow for conversion losses.
I prefer to have male and female plugs rather than a transfer switch.
