it puts out 7amps into my system, propped up against the side of the rv facing the sun
its enough to keep the batteries above 13.2v while i'm using the laptop
i deploy it after my morning generator run of battery charging
Mr. Wizard, that looks like the solution I've been looking for for a couple of years. KickAss has had one for a few years, but they only sell and ship in Australia and their is no doubt better quality, but sells for around $1200. So this is quite a good deal.
Not having this available at the time, I ordered up 2 120 watt semi-flexible panels, made a lightweight metal frame for them and use them as a portable system. So I get 240 watts, without very much weight. But they are large (about 2 ft. by about 40 inches each panel). This foldable system looks lightweight and easily transportable. I may have to supplement my system. Please keep us up to date on any problems or peccadillos you may experience with it. Thanks.
