Yeah...a heavy downpour will produce noise. Especially while trying to sleep in bed. Like 1000 little gnomes with little hammers up there.

what the OP is saying is her alpenlite has a hard strong roof that is rubber. I tell others our alpenlite has a roof that is liking walking on concrete . I have walked of fifths that go up and down between the roof trusses. We have had 2 TT's and one other fifth before the alpenlite but never felt a hard rain didn't make a lot of noise.
