I want to install a TV mount on the outside of my RV right above my stereo compartment. I have a coaxial, electric outlet and stereo hook up in that compartment. I don't think there is any wood studs to mount it to. Since its behind my kitchen cabinets I was going to put a 3/4" backing of plywood from the inside and screw into that. I plan on powder coating white and either using putty tape and/or caulk to keep it waterproof.
My question is this, would it be sufficient to hold a 32" TV in place only when stationary? I would obviously take the TV down while traveling. What are you thoughts? How would you do this job?
Thanks in advance for your advice
I like the homemade mount I saw on another forum. It connects to the bracket where an outside stove would be attached.
I tried upload a picture here - no success. I will have to see what I need to do to upload the photograph.
Here is a try of uploading the photograph.
