Small upright freezer on inverter

Thanks for the posts. This is a low priority item for me but wanted to see what others might have done to solve the problem. What people have said about getting fridge cold before leaving is sufficient for us as well because so far we have only kept beverages in the fridge. What I would prefer if I did anything would be to replace the fridge with a freezer to keep more food and use an ice chest for beverages. I have seen people do the chest freezer in the basement but we don't have the room for that. May look at putting a chest freezer in the bed of the truck under my Bak-Flip cover.
