I took care of mine. I am of short stature and I just got some wire and a fish feed and ran the wire down the inside of the wall and hooked it up to a switch I bought. got a double plate to mount both the light switch and the fan switch and now it is just right for me. once you set the fan to the speed you use the most you are set to go.
