fantastic Vent Bathroom Fan issue!
So the fan lid begins to go up.....and then stops going up. I have to "push" on the little black knob to "re-engage" it for it to work.
Is it time for a new lift motor?

- New lift motor or new lift arm. Had that issue with mine. For a temporary fix, I was able to shim the motor assembly up a bit in the plastic mounting housing which got it to work. Permanent solution we replacement of lift arm assembly.
- Little lube may help.
