Refer cooling.... rear baffles and fans....any advice?

Questions about baffles in diagram/manual in link provided (page 23, Fig. 5)....

1. Won't the rising hot air, as it rises, get trapped between the lower baffle and upper baffle?

2. It would seem to me that a long baffle from top to bottom would be needed to make sure that all air is funneled directly across condenser and not allowed to settle between baffles? Ex. connecting those two baffles in Fig. 5 with a vertical piece.

Perhaps I am not understanding the physics here
