Great, thanks Chris ... I just didn't want to start prying and pulling and twisting until I knew for sure. I'm very disappointed to see the rust on the painted surface on a new vehicle but I use it all year and with the furnace running in the winter I gather that the tube/hose does rust and gets on the painted surface.
