Most RVs have built in bed "frames" that hide mechanical/plumbing utilities not easily moved. If that's not the case for your particular unit you may still have to deal with the cosmetic issues involved with removal and replacement.
Agree with the part about the bed frame. I have purchased several new RV'S and have never left the dealership with the factory mattress or I as call it torture device.
