On a prior RV, I had a deteriorating Coleman AC unit replaced by a non-electric standard roof vent. An RV repair facility did the work for me, leaving the wiring in place in case I changed my mind.
The AC required 110V. A Maxxair or Fantastic Fan runs on 12V, so you may have to rewire if you want your new vent to be electrified.
