Current fan is recessed 1.75 inches in ceiling. Factory design.
Blade height from fan assembly to ceiling is 4 inches. slopes to 8 inches from ceiling at end of blade.
My apologies on clarification of type of fan it is.....it's a ceiling hugger with no drop down design such as pedestal etc. Head clearance is likely to not be an issue unless your 6' plus. :)
knowing this....do you think a replacement still might work or is the current set up non-functional?
