Replacing the kitchen faucet - anyone done that?

I would like to replace the kitchen faucet on our 2015 Laredo. I really don't like the cheap feeling faucet that's there. I would like to switch to a standard Delta or Moen faucet. There are no shu...

I don't understand the shutoff valves inline ... unless I'm really missing something obvious? My water pump switch is only 3 steps away from the sink?
