Retractable shower screen

Has anyone installed a retractable shower screen to replace the shower curtain?

I am looking (on internet) at one made by NEWLINE.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Thanks

Nick

    :) Hi, my Airstream came with one of those and we like it. After more than ten years of use, it was starting to bind a bit while retracting. I sprayed it with silicone spray lube and it works like new again. I have never had to clean it. The built in squeegee cleans the water off everytime it is retracted.
  • Thanks for the comments.

    Ordered one and hope weather holds so that I can install it.

    Thanks

  • Not the shower screen but I installed this retractable version Irvine (3657SW) White 36" x 57" Shower Door before last summer. We really like it a lot more than a shower curtain. I only had about 32" width so all of the shower curtain bars that stick out away from the shower area would not fit. This was the perfect solution... no more flimsy shower curtain sticking to you while using the shower. Feels like there is a lot more room in the shower now too. I should have bought and installed this years ago.
  • Installed that shower door in out Titanium in 2005.
    Is used almost full time about 6 months a year.
    Other than having to recaulk a few places a couple times, it has performed flawlessly.
    It is a.... just use it, no maintenance item.
  • I've had a NewLine for 10 years - GREAT PRODUCT...............
    Small and unobtrusive - stores way and does self-clean;
    Much better than a shower curtain
  • The Newline looks interesting!... I am doubtful of their self cleaning claim...
