I really like the trick where you use a fuse on the plug to light up the running lights while camping. However think I would want to tone it down a bit.Any reason why a dimmer in line with the fuse would not work?

If you're still using incandescent bulbs it will work. If you're on LED it may or may not depending on the design of the LED bulbs.

Forget about the dimmer, install a flasher :B
