- rjnilesExplorerI use this dimmer for LEDs. Will not work for incadescent, too much current.

Looks like the neighbor must be equally colorful with that green light flooding in from out of frame.

I think that green light is not from a neighbor but from his palm tree that you can see reflected in the side of his trailer near the front. :B
See lots of those down in Florida during the winter.

Oh, neat. I'm never at one site long enough to decorate it, so the thought didn't cross my mind. - grandpopsicleExplorerI wasn't talking about signaling lights for a landing strip. Hence the dimmer and they would go off when the grandkids come in. We'll before lights out time
We do glamping now and really wouldn't be any different than other campers and thier outdoor LED exterior lights. - BarneySExplorer III

Barney - azdryheatExplorerI use a paper clip in the socket to have the lights on during special occasions.

Maybe it is just me, but, I go camping to get away from all of the lights and to enjoy the dark nights. I try to park away from the big RV's and stay near the tents because they usually don't try to bring the city with them. It is your decision what you do, but remember that all of your lights do affect other people.
Trust me, it isn't just you.

my favorite are the huge fifth wheels with blinding blue floodlights on the front cap.
THIS one apparently came equipped from the factory. :R
Guy must have pulled in late at night after I did.

I really like the trick where you use a fuse on the plug to light up the running lights while camping. However think I would want to tone it down a bit.
Any reason why a dimmer in line with the fuse would not work?
Yup, you can make those lights do just about anything you want.
BUT you sure won't be the most popular person at any CG with them turned on. :R - cruiserjsExplorer

And really p---- off your neighbors with those lights in the campground!! Me-Me!! - GordonThreeExplorerI'm normally a lights out kind of guy. However if my neighbors or the park ownership want to play the light pollution game, I'm happy to contribute.
