RV Credenza

I have seen many posting of members taking out their dinette and replacing with a credenza. We are planning on doing this but have one question. Can someone tell me, preferably take pictures of how the table is attached to the credenza. I see the tabletop slides out to make the table longer. What kind of support is installed at the credenza to hold the table up and to move out smoothly? I hope I am being clear. I am going to make the credenza myself so this is the only question I have. Thanks everyone for your feedback. It will be greatly appreciated. :)

  • We did measurements, downloaded pics & took pics to the shop that built the credenza in our last coach.
This is what we ended up with.

This is with the table pushed in. It extended about another 14".

    Below is with table extended.

p.s. There is 120v outlet on top and underneath.
  • My credenza is mounted to table with HD ball bearing drawer sides. With a double leg toward end of table. I will post pictures later today.
  • I had a table and I built a credensa and added it over the the table. If you are doing the work you may find it easier to have a free standing table "under" the credensa. Just a thought.
