Great points all around. One thing that often gets overlooked in big RV renovation projects like this is the disposal side. When you start pulling out bed frames, old appliances, and cabinetry, the junk piles up fast. Having a plan for hauling that stuff out saves a lot of headaches mid-project.

Actually this coming weekend is the very first time I am going to extend the slide-out and get the pups on the bed, which I decided to keep btw. So well see. And with gas prices like this looks like we all wont be going very far from home this year. Or next year. Or ever maybe because in my estimation we are never going to see $3 gasoline again.

That makes sense. Hopefully the extended slide-out setup works well for you and the pups. RV renovation projects always seem to evolve as you go. Wishing you the best with the build and safe travels ahead.

So glad you're keeping the pups. I bet they're happy about that too.😀

So you didn’t tear this thing apart. Good call.
Regarding traveling and high gas prices, this is starting to get old already. Gas goes up in price, it comes down, then it happens again and again.
I understand it’s an expense. But seriously, if you’re cutting it that close the RV was a poor travel choice to begin with. If you drove 2000 miles in your gasser C at 10 mpg it would cost you an extra $300 ish compared to what was actually really cheap gas last year.
Plus if you happened to live in an area with expensive fuel and travel to somewhere with cheap fuel the new price is what you were paying at home last year.
