RV water filter store

I had a home made regulator I bought in a yard sale several years ago and I must have left it laying at the base of the water faucet one time as I can not find it any where here at home. I noticed it was missing when I bought a new TT and was transfering all the old stuff tothe new TT. I am a little confused as to which regulator to get. what do you guys use? I noticed some do not have the garden hose connections on them. thanks

  • I bought the N55B from RV Water Filter Store after swapping emails and talking to the owner when he called me on a Sunday evening.

Love them regulator and appreciate the customer service!
  • Go to a big box store and ask for a $40 whole house Watts water pressure regulator. No need for a gauge, other then for looks, and it's just one more thing to get plugged with debris.

I took that whole house unit, and then worked it into a whole house water filter with adapters to two 10 foot white hoses to use at the parks. Works like a champ and has never plugged on me. Prior to this setup I had one of those cute little regulators with the gauge and house ends. That lasted for about 6 months of snow birding until the unit plugged and stopped regulating the pressure. I would never recommend that unit to anyone.

Highest water pressure that was noted at a park was 160psi. I would hate to have one of those smaller regulators at that park.

I have This One. It works great and since I full time it works 365 days a year, except for the nights it will be below freezing outside and I bring it in.

I had the H560 mentioned above and it worked fine, but I like the higher flow rate of the one I have now.

    Nice looking regulator!

What is the make and model of that one you have now? Where did you purchase it and how much does it cost?

Edit: I think I found it at the Water Filter Store for about $80 or $90 here. Watts Model 263A

Wmoses, You can purchase SS replacement parts at the RV Water Filter store for that regulator. They also sell complete re-build kits at the bottom of the page.
  • I also have the one in edatlanta's link. Gauge is getting a little rusty now. :(

  • the one I bought did not have the garden hose fittings since Lowes/Home depot did not carry them at the time so I bought the fittings and adapted it. that Valterra A01-1117VP Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Water Regulator looks nice. I also have a pressure gauge that has an arrow that stays at the highest pressure seen which gets a little scary at times.

  • I like the Watts 63A but any of the above will do the job..

    Try this or this.

The main thing is to reduce the pressure but not cut down on the flow rate. My Watts does a pretty darned good job.
