I just installed my Eez TPMS and discovered another reason to use metal stems: the rubber part below the threads came up a little too high on one wheel causing the sensor to not fully seat. I got my first alarm a few minutes later because of the leak. Some trim work with a utility knife took care of the problem, but I will also use the fuel line shim until I can replace with metal stems.
