Our dinette makes into a standard twin-sized bed - 72" long. So, I went to Home Depot and picked up a piece of shelving material - 72" X 12" X 1" pre-finished in flat white. I think I paid somewhere under $10 for it. It slides down between the cushions and the seat frame and turns the dinette bed into a perfect grandchild corral, although our 3-year-old can climb over the back of the dinette onto the sofa if he really wants to! During the day I just prop it up against the wall next to the fridge, and when on the road it lays on our bed.
