If you only have one coax coming in use RG6 from the dish. On the inside you can use a 4001FD diplexer made by Channel Master. This is not a splitter it is a diplexer. One of the outputs goes to Sat the other output goes to ant in on your sat receiver. If you connect to cable outside and sat receiver is off it will feed directly through to your TV. I paid all of 97 cents for the diplexer.
