We bought 2 of those and attached to the door at the middle and bottom. My wife wanted a place for shoes close to the door. We bought a cheap back of door shoe holder, cut it down to size and attached to the 2 rails and now hang shoes from the door. It works well enough to hold about 4 pairs out of the way and doesn't seem to bother us coming in and out. I'd say it was a good buy.
