Screen door slider with door opener Lippert 239061

Anybody tried it yet? I hear that new trailers are coming with this OEM. Looks like they've finally found the solution. The knob slides up/down, rod is pushing on the door lever, knob is spring-loaded to return up again.

Amazon have it for $29 - the whole plexiglas piece with knob, 12" x 9.3/4".

I know of $5 thingy by Camco - posted recently in another topic - but this one "feels" better.

    I ordered the Lippert panel from my dealer. It was a direct replacement for the plain sliding panel and works well.

    Did anyone ever find one that was 11 1/4" or 12" tall? we want this but it's too small at 9 3/4"

    I had one of those cheap plastic handle things. Pain in the arse. I LOVE the new plastic opener.

    Ok, seems everybody loves it. Will order one. The store in the linked topic have them for $15, though no free shipping.

    ScottG - yes, it sounds like that piece of plexiglass is 9.3/4" tall, so could be too small for some rigs.

    Does the latch just mount in a round opening in the clear panel?

    I was going to order one yesterday but the dimensions were something like 9.75" tall and mine is about 11 1/4" tall. Can someone tell me what the true height is?

    EDIT: Never mind - I'm SOL LOL!
