Don't sweat the waste disposal. It is very simple, easy, and in my experience, clean. I simply hook up my hose (leave it hooked up for three months while we are in Florida for the winter), pull the handle, wait till the tank is empty, unhook hose, run water through it and put hose away. I do use rubber gloves while handling the hose.
I have never spilled anything, and only get a small bit of odor near the end of the process. Nothing at all to fear or be reluctant to do. It is just a part of RVing.
