Skylight

Does the $111 include labor? or just the price of the skylight. We had a vent replaced last year after hail broke it out. Cost of the vent itself was something like ... $35.00. The rest was for labor. I think the total was about $125. I let them fix it. Saved me some time, and the cost was OK.

If you have the dealer install it, you might be a discount on the price? Just asking?

Nope, thats just the cost of the outer dome.

Personally I've never found anything on eBay to be worth buying. I'd get the dealer one, or at least a reputable RV parts supplier. Your mileage may vary.

2oldman, you are funny. You do know there are lots of bricks and mortar stores that sell on eBay right? That includes many RV stores.

As a matter of fact, as soon as I am done writing this I am going back to listing all my IPad stuff on eBay and I can assure you it is good stuff. I have sold a lot of stuff on eBay and it was all good.

Selling online is good for those who know how to do it and it is simply how things are done these days.

X2, there are HUGE sellers on ebay running in "stealth mode" so you don't know their real (retail store) name. Ever heard of Jegs, Summit, etc? There's sellers on ebay with over 100,00 feedbacks. Ebay is just a "channel" to move merchandise, like Amazon, and others. Brick and mortars are a channel too.

I have bought lots of items from RV dealers on e-bay. A lot of dealers sell new and used RV's on e-bay as well.

eBay is a godsend.. Same items less money.. I've bought 2 or 3 vents no problems..

You might check out a local plastics shop. I got a domed vent cover from a friend and it was custom built. It is really a high grade of polycarbonate and thick.

well e-bay hi-jacked the topic so to the op, that is too high for just a crank up vent. i replaced both of mine for about 35 each from hail. then later went to fantastic fans so i now have extras at home. if i was there i would give them to you but i will not be back for a while. and yes you can get good stuff from e-bay.
