Sleep couch

Our sleeper couch blocks access to motorhome door when open. Bought Air Dream mattress for it which is comfortable but location is just lousy. Would like to keep a couch. Any such thing as a comfortable jack, magic, ez bed, etc. Saw Villa Line which look cushy and cost cushy...one on EBay...$850 whoa. Any advice appreciated.

if you are planting something down south, and driving to it, a TT makes more sense. just have it delivered to where you want to plant yourselves.

  • Thanks to you both for helpful advice.

Talked to Braddock and Hall. Flexsteel Easy Bed would be way to go since we would want 72" with removable arms and Magic Bed removable arms only in 68". She thought we would be happy with either style. Shipping to NC not as bad as I thought either ($195).

We have been discussing downsizing but if we keep our motorhome we will have to invest in a couple of things this being one of them. We have a 10 year old Gas Mountain Aire by Newmar that is well made and has been very reliable. My husband's body parts aren't what they once were and thinks smaller diesel would be easier for him to maneuver. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Bumpy, you should give New Point another try...only 4 hours drive for us.

    Thanks again,
  • check out magic sofa bed at bradd and hall. gives a flat comfortable surface to sleep on, unlike jack knifes, etc.

  • We have a flexsteel easy bed in our coach and it is very comfortable as either the sofa or the bed. One thing we love about it also is that it has arms that are removable. Many rv sofas do not have arms. Ours is in a 13 year old coach. Don't know if they are still made of the same quality and comfort as in years past though.
