Thanks Scott! I have already tried making adjustments to the slide and It might have helped a little. I found out what was wrong when I removed the piece of drip edge trim and when I started screwing it on again I noticed that it had been installed at a downward angle towards the inside. So that the inside end was lower than the bottom of the slide. So I drilled three new screw holes towards the inside end of the trim and raised it up and screwed it back on and it is okay now.
