I disagree not for a beginner. When I was new to solar, Bob's blog is what I read first and found it to be the most useful for me and easy enough to understand even as a beginner as I was at the time. I also have read JackDanmayer's work and his is also very good, but he tends to lean people towards the more expensive and sometimes, depending on the individuals needs, overkill. But his info is generally sound. Amsolar is also good and was helpful to me as well, their products are excellent, customer service equally so and they have very good information
