Actually, somewhere on here is a post from someone who did run their solar wires down the sewer vent, drilled a hole down low, fished them out, sealed the hole. Never say never.
Thats what I did. Fished it down the vent to our bathromm sink, drilled a hole in the pipe (on top) that went to the sink, pulled the wires out and sealed up the hole. There was already enough of a gap under the sink where the water lines came in that I could fish the wires down to the basement.
I didnt see a problem with running down the vent. And I also have Crusader
