Sound System Advice

I need to replace my amplifier/receiver. Just need good stereo and connect to flat screen TV and DVD player. Also, would like a pair of 'small, inexpensive' speakers that can be easily mounted. With the vibration that occurs in our Class 'C' when travelling, a solid and durable amplifier is desired. Amplifier and speakers should be $150 or less, if possible. Suggestions please.
  • "Good stereo", "solid and durable" and a budget of $150 is going to be tough. Check over at Crutchfield for items that will fit your needs.
  • I use a Sony DAV-X1 similar to a Bose 321 system. You can pick them up on Ebay for around $150. used. They run close to a $1000. new. Or you can find a used Bose 321 system. They sound very good in a RV but are not Blu-ray just reg DVD. They have 2 very small speakers and a sub. You need to make sure it includes the cables and remote when buying the system, reg cables will not have the proper ends.
