Ok, I didn't know you needed to shift weight back.
We have a rear kitchen model, and seems like we have always needed more pin weight to decrease chucking.
I was looking at that Bal tire carrier, and I probably would have gone for that myself if it had been available when I was relocating my spare.
Good luck in your modification. It has always been enjoyable to make our camper better, even if it does drive my wife nuts. Lol.
