steel wool and foam to plug holes to prevent mice

Another project on the Wildwood. I have always heard to use steel wool and foam to plug holes so mice cannot enter. Wouldn't the steel react with the copper lines? Should a person just use foam for th...

I would think a generous application of just foam would be enough. We had some mice getting in the house from ???? and foam under the baseboard in the closet stopped them..
