Bottom line, the Thin-Lite LED626P has lower amp draw and produces more light than my existing model 626 fluorescent.
Partial Thin-Lite product description:
This is Thin-Lite's LED version of the popular fluorescent model 626 and P2626 lights.
Amp draw of 0.40 to 1.25 amps (4.32 to 14.4 watts), lumen output of 720 to 2400 lumens.
Note: the standard fluorescent model 626 draws 2.2 amps and outputs 1650 lumens.
Thus, I get 45% more light (on high setting) with little more than half the energy consumption. Sounds good to me!
Plus, the LEDs basically last forever. F15T8-CW long-life lamps (36,000 hrs) are now available on Amazon for about $13 so maybe I can't justify the switch to LED on cost alone. No matter, my primary goal is lower energy consumption and equal or greater light output.
