Tire Pressures
Hello I have a 2017 Coachmen Mirada. It weighs 18,340 lbs. fully loaded. 6040 in the front and 12300 in the rear. I have read every forum out there as well as anything I can find on google or you...
Thanks! A bit new to the class A motorhome thing so I think I'll stick with the sticker pressure and quit worrying/wondering about it.
Ya, realistically steel sprung utility chassis are not built for comfort and when you get in to med/heavy chassis vehicles, tires aren’t really in the comfort equation either.
Unless you were waaay over sized for tire capacity you’re best just sticking to the sticker or tire sidewall in general. Because you’re also likely close to your gvw rating.
vs say a heavy duty pickup what could be operating at significantly less than gvwr.
Time for a CAT scale weighing? I think so.
what for? its a motor home, nothing has sugested in this post that it is over any tire weights. he was in fact, looking at dropping the pressure in the tires to match the amount of weight he was below the tire capacity.
I’m cautious about weight on tires and within limits unconcerned about a “harsh” ride.
