I thought I should further explain my logic for the design. We only use our traier in Florida as a winter home. We own a lot in a park that has RV lots as well as modular, mobile and stick built homes. I wanted a step that could be broken down to move and be small enough to be placed under a neighbors house for storage. The pieces could also be placed in basement of a 5th wheel or in the back of a pickup. I looked at some one piece fiberglass units that some people here use but they were too big move around. When we leave we must have everything on the lot put away and secured in case of a hurricane when we're not here. This design hits my design points.
