Vent Insert "insulation"

To help cool the front of the fifth wheel bedroom/bathroom. The wife and i made some inserts from foam board and covered them in a color coordinated material. We have a few skylight's and will do the same. One of the skylights over the dinette we put the foam board in but never covered it, and it has helped tremendously in cooling the dinning room. Hopefully this will help the AC on those 100+ degree days. I know we could buy the ones at Camping World but where is the fun in that?

  • Hi,

I made covers for skylights, roof vents, and windows from Insulbright. It is a three layer material that is intended to add your own material to once side. I have velcro all around each piece to hold it in place.

You may find a tremendous difference in both cooling and heating!
