Well I couldn't imagine a greater PITA than going through this routine! :S Over the years I've acquired all the adapters and hoses I need to run both my Coleman 2-burner camp stove and my Weber Q off one of the trailer tanks but frankly that too is a PITA, especially when it's SO much simpler to power the Q with a lightweight, easy to store, easy to transport 5 lb tank that may at worst need one refill during the season. 16.4 oz canisters will run my Coleman camp stove "forever" and I doubt I'd even go through 3 or 4 of them in an entire season. Transporting both are easy - I made containment boxes with scrap plywood that just sit in the back of the truck and prevent the containers from rolling around. K.I.S.S. :B
