Or you could do the simple thing and just remove the propane tank from the camper for use with the stove.
No waste, no parts, just hook it up.
So in the meantime while he has a functioning BBQ, he just lost the fridge, stove, WH, and RV heater, not including the time to remove, reinstall, purge, and make sure everything works again immediately after grilling. And now everyone is done before you ever get a chance to sit down.
Why would you possibly do that?
Don't most TT's have two tanks? Remove is less than 30 secs. reinstall, less than 30 secs. Purge and make sure everythings working? I did it half a dozen times this past four day weekend, with no need to do any purging, and testing, and making sure everything is working. Hooked back up with no problems and worked without a hitch. It's not rocket science and you make it sound like it is a big ordeal.
Besides, I don't run my fridge on propane when Im hooked up to electric, so I don't have to worry about "losing the fridge". My HW heater is on electric too, so no loss there. If you need to keep the trailer components running, take the tank that is NOT supplying the trailer components at the time. Easy Peezy lemon squeezy.
