I originally purchased 9-30VDC rated LED bulbs that included a BUCK BOOST regulator circuit to make them work. They were great. Then I noticed I was getting strange RFI signals on my HDTV setups, WX RADIO, as well as my Ham Radio ops which traced back to when the LEDs were turned on.
Found out the RFI noise was coming from the regulator circuit on these high dollar LED assys.
My fix was to abandoned the high dollar boards and buy those $4.99 LED boards from EBAY/CHINA which did not have the regulator circuit included with their board. These were cheap enough I got them in groups of 10ea for an even better price.
These LED boards were rated at 10-14VDC which was less than what I actually use when doing smart mode charging. I figured I would start losing some of the small led lights. I figured at the $4.99 cost per board it would be easy to just replace a whole board when this happened.
Out of the nine boards I am currently using I have three or four boards that have a couple of 3-leds in a roll group not working but is not enough yet to have them replaced. Been running my $4.99 boards since 2009.
Still have five spare boards waiting to be used...
I think it was SMKETTNER I gave my unused regulator type boards too...
