They should do things better.
That may delay the inevitable, but even the supposedly waterproof version of the scothlock will fail, especially when road salt is involved. The light wiring is one thing, the brake wiring another. Our 17 Rockwood (no underbelly coroplast) did not have one single wire tie on anything. The wiring for both lights and brakes hung down a good 4" lower than the bottom of the frame and half the grommets were missing where it passed through stamped cross members....pretty piss poor. Now if it had coroplast they could have hidden even more shoddy assembly from view, including Jacob Yoders half eaten ham sammich.
