Your camper has a faulty trailer light converter. The converter is trying to convert a 5 wire Toyota system
and convert it to a 4 wire (domestic) system.
Your converter box has failed and is not feeding the brake light signal to the plug on the bumper. With a test light you can verify this. You can also buy a new converter box at most auto part stores as well as Uhaul and maybe even Walmart.
- 1. Tail lights
- 2. Brake lights
- 3. Left turn (usually amber)
- 4. Right turn (usually amber)
- 5. Ground.
