Also, what is up with the cable attached uphill? That trail doesn't look that steep or off-camber to me, hell, I'd have just buzzed right through on my Arctic Cat, I've been on far worse and never used cables.
I get that some tracks are single, but if a trail is wide enough and the markings clearly state it's okay for me to be there, then I'm on the trail - besides, going off-piste in a 4-wheeler is going to do a lot more damage than a two-wheeler. I like "Stay the Trail"
Also, your recommendation for where sxs's "should" be looks a lot like Black Bear to me, and if you are familiar, you would know, a. it's one-way downhill, and b., OHV's are verboten in Telluride.
SXS's are fine in Telluride. There is no law permitting or against SxS's in Telluride.
