thanks. As I said, I've done extensive research on the OHV rules for each of these areas. The confusion in Lake City comes from the State Highway that runs through town - which you need to access to complete the loop. OHV's are not allowed on State Highways, and while the Sheriff won't stop you, the state trooper just might.

I even wrote to the Hinsdale County Sheriffs office to get a clarification. They never responded. I just "trusted" that I would be okay, despite that I was also told the trooper would write a $200 ticket.
