'14 to '16 Ram Crewcab 2500 diesel towing which 5th wheels
What 5th wheels are you towing ? My Columbus 340rk states 1800 lb pin weight , which shouldn't be a problem .

Ummmm... Yes, and no....
I towed it home from the dealership that way (empty) so I was maxed-out with the traier and the hitch weight. (But this was the floorpan that the boss REALLY wanted, so if I needed to upgrade the truck, so be it.)
Since then, I've found, researched, talked to owners, and have ordered an Automated Safety Hitch. I pick it up in two weeks. Expensive, but no where near what a 3500 DRW would have cost, and I REALLY didn't want a wider, fiberglass fender DRW.....
I saw one of these last month, and was very impressed with the heavy duty construction. You get your whole truck bed back, but it extends your total length by 8'
