Geez some of you crack me up..lol
I used to compete with a bow and arrow shooting 3D targets quite a bit and was pretty good with it .I was at a competition one day and a guy walked up and asked me about Dynamic deflection of an arrow and how it effected the arrows flight, he went on to tell me how it wasnt possible for my current bow and arrow combo shouldnt work according to all of his data. I won or placed in the top 3 shooters at any given time , and I assure you when I missed it was almost always because I missread the yardage or wind, and not my equipment. I then politely explained that if you e worried more about actually shooting his bow and using the knowledge he learned from doing so he would get a lot more enjoyment out of the sport .
My point here is this , This happy new owner comes on here to share his excitement about his new rig and you guys get into a battle over Dynamic deflection of truck capabilities...lol
I know a lot of people that arent capable of driving a passenger car let alone a truck , and some of them retire and buy trailers and all the sudden they are experts on towing and towing capabilities.
Dont get me wrong I am not advocating that its a good idea to tow a grossly unreasonable amount of weight no matter what you have , however it doesnt mean that an experienced driver isnt able to safely tow a trailer that exceeds its gvrw . Common sense and experience go along way in this equation .
I dont mean to offend anyone , as we all are entitled to our opinions , just wanted this fellow to be able to bask in the glory of his new traler for a minute before controversy spoiled his excitment.
Have a good night gentleman....and to the OP congratulations !
