2 wheel TH TT

Anyone own a small 2 wheel TH and how do you like it?

I already have two large TH's but thought of buying a very small TH for basically just a bedroom for long trips without toys. I want a TH because of the floor space for the Collies and not have to deal with a motel. At the seasonal guests could use it as a bedroom as well.

New they are not much over 10k but if I could find a late model used unit that would work as well but most seem to want a new price for a used trailer. I thought there would be more on the market from people wanting to upgrade to a larger TH.

Nit sure which KZ you were looking at.
Two of them on RVT had window units in the 18-TH one in MN another in IL. The third 18-TH in TX had a roof mount A/C.

I do like the interior for its openness.

    Upon retiring, I downsized from a 24ft TT to an 18ft TH; It's a KZ 18TH
    single axle; I love it......

It's small, light and so easy to tow that it's almost permanently attached to my van. It's always loaded with food/water and I just take off when I want.

I take my motorcycle, bicycle, kayak and leave for several days at a whim. It has a queen bed and a large bunk - so the wife can come with me if she wants. I love the open floor space - no furniture to get in the way. With the ramp down - it becomes a patio.

I also use it for "days out" and a place to hang out. I take it to the beach/parks; park it in the parking lot, put the ramp down, brew some coffee and enjoy the scenery.

It's a great little camper - I would highly recommend one as a week-end getaway.
Looked at the little KZ but do not care for the window A/C. Where I'm at we have high heat with high humidity. Thanks for the review.

  • They have minimal payload so are mostly popular with the motorcycle and kayak crowds. If you find their forums, you may have better luck buying a used single axle.
