no, there are no threaded fittings. When built these units, like your home refer. are sealed after the charge is weighed in. There's a short stub of copper coming off the compressor that has solder in the end, that's where the factory charges it. They have a special dodad that does it and seals/solders after the charge is added. You have to drill a hole and braze in a Schrader valve in the suction line. If the system is totally flat then there's a leak (mine wore a hole through the copper where it went through a bulkhead). Unlike auto AC these units should NEVER need to have refrigerant added or changed, again just like your home refer.
